Follow the links below for brief class descriptions and enrollment links. All classes are taught by SDFWA volunteer faculty.
Note: Not all classes are taught each month and the summer class schedule is especially light-check back in the fall for a full schedule of classes. SDFWA education policies can be found here.

- All students must be members of the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association ($35 annual fee). Become a member here.
- Some classes have prerequisites which are listed in the course descriptions. Please be mindful of these; if you sign up for a class and don't meet the prerequisites, you will not be able to participate in the class.
- A class will be cancelled if it does not have an adequate number of registered students.
Refund Policy
- Full refunds: cancel 14 or more days before start of class, or if class is cancelled;
- 50% refunds: cancel 7 or more days before start of class;
- No refund: cancel less than one week before start of class or failure to appear for a class you have enrolled in.
Course Enrollment and Interest Lists
- Pre-registration emails will be sent on or around the first day of the month prior to the month in which the class begins. For example, if a class begins in March, everyone the Interest list will receive a pre-registration email on or around February 1. This email will include the registration link before it is available to the general public. We cannot guarantee an open seat to everyone who received a pre-registration email, as seats will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis among all on the waiting list. Please act quickly if you wish to enroll; you can register using a mobile device or a computer.
- General registration begins on the 6th or 7th of the month prior to the month in which the class begins. For example, if a class begins in March, general registration will begin on February 6 or 7. At this time, registration links will be available through the Punch Pass schedule and the Education website pages on sdfwa.org.
- Members who are on an interest list for specific classes may also be offered prioritized enrollment if space opens during the session or additional sections of a class are added.
- We encourage you to add your name to the Interest lists of classes that interest you!
