SDFWA is pleased to offer up to two scholarships quarterly for Introduction to Woodworking A, including two special Rosie Trone Memorial Scholarships. Each scholarship will provide 50% of the fee for the Introduction to Woodworking A class ($250). The Rosie Trone scholarship also includes a set of Lie-Nielsen scrapers and a George Nakashima book awarded after completion of the course.
Applications are reviewed with the following deadlines:
- November 15 for the Winter Quarter
- February 15 for the Spring Quarter; the Rosie Trone Scholarships
- May 15 for the Summer Quarter
- August 15 for the Fall Quarter

It is expected that recipients will use the scholarship within 6 months. Scholarship deferral for up to an additional 6 months may be requested.
