To inspire, enable and educate people in San Diego to pursue their passion in woodworking

 

Develop a cohesive communications plan to keep all Members abreast of needed information.

• • Fix the Website
  • Regular publication of Shop Updates and Newsletters
  • “Communications Director”?
  • Establish a “central repository for all SDFWA documents, photos, forms, etc.

 

Develop a plan to re-unite the entire SDFWA

• • Functions that support interaction between all Members
  • Better synergy between the Shop and DIW
  • New Organizational structure to support current activities
  • Find ways to build pride in the SDFWA

 

Develop a Strategy to increase the value of a SDFWA Membership

• • Discount program expansion to include more suppliers, classes, etc
  • Set meaningful calendar of events that are of value to Members
  • Encourage new ideas that will be of value to SDFWA Members
  • Publicize the value of Membership in the “New SDFWA”

 

Develop a Long Term Plans

• • Shop size, location and growth?
  • DIW objectives
  • Develop and Implement viable Succession Plan for the entire SDFWA
  • Name Change?

 

Implement a Budgeting process that can be used as a management tool.
