The Next Meeting is 7 pm, March 31, 2009
Al
Bahr Temple, 5440 Kearny Mesa Rd. Behind the Hampton Inn
For the March program, Ron Goldman,
editor and owner of Woodworker West will be presenting the 1st episode of the
PBS series "Craft in America". This episode includes the last interview
made with the late Sam Maloof, along with Gary Knox Bennett. Many of you have
probably not seen this series and as all PBS series, it is very well done.
Ron usually brings along extra issues of Woodworker West which has just gone to a new format and look. It's now on glossy paper and looks like other regular magazines, a great improvement. Check the resource section in this issue of the newsletter for more information about Woodworker West and the subscription rates.
See you at the meeting!
